This is one of the longest posts we have ever done but we just had to share all of the amazingness that was Courtney & Colin’s wedding!
Courtney and Colin were married yesterday October 19th 2013 at Sweet Cheeks Winery in Eugene, Oregon. It was the most beautiful October day in Eugene, Oregon. They chose one of our favorite Eugene venues to have their wedding and celebrate with their closest friends and family. Courtney & Colin have been together for quite some time. They met in high school but didn’t start dating until 2008. Colin didn’t pop the question until Valentines Day of 2012. They went out to dinner that night and had a wonderful time. Courtney asked Colin at dinner if he got her a card (he always gets her cards) and without batting an eye he said that he did but he had left it in the car. They finished up dinner and headed back to Courtney’s sorority. Once at the sorority, Colin seemed a little frazzled and told Courtney to wait a second. When they got up to the steps he said he wanted to give her the card. As she was reading the card her heart fluttered because the last line read, ‘Do you know what it feels like to stop searching? I do.’ Courtney looked down to see Colin holding a ring and asking her to marry him! She of course said yes! The proposal came as a shock to Courtney, she had no idea it was going to happen.
Courtney & Colin we absolutely loved being your wedding photographers! Your wedding was so much fun! ~Jayme & Russ
Courtney’s father had passed away some time ago so her Maid of Honor Kimberlee stitched ‘In loving memory of Ted Pelster’ into the lining of her dress.
Courtney’s Uncle walked her down the aisle.
C&C did something really fun that I have never seen before. They had a contest to see who would get the cake smashed in their face.
They had two jars and guests would put money into the jar of the person they wanted to see get cake in the face.
Whoever had the most money in their jar got to smash the cake in the others face!
Can you guess who lost? 😉
