Angie & Rick I McMenamins Grand Lodge Forest Grove, Oregon

Angie & Rick’s wedding was so incredibly fun and chill. They had a friend play the “Wedding March” on the acoustic guitar as they walked down the aisle. Ricks friend Zach married them. Then he proceded to surprise everyone by handcuffing them together as they were about to walk back down the aisle! (Rick & Angie are both in Law Enforcement). The ceremony lasted all of  TWO MINUTES!!! (We timed it). They told us it was going to be quick but we never imagined it would be THAT quick! 🙂 Rick is a HUGE Star Wars fan (he has the tattoos to prove it). So naturally the recessional song was the Star Wars Theme music played on the acoustic guitar!

It was held at McMenamins Grand Lodge in forest grove so the Ruby was flowing like water all night!

We usually get to meet our couples ahead of time but these two alluded us until their wedding day! They live a couple of hours away so that didn’t help much. We had so much fun with them throught the day! Since we were at a McMenamins property Russ and I decided to take a mini vacation and stay the night. So after the wedding was over and all the guests had gone home we got to hang out with The Fontaines in the soaking pool for a bit.

It was really great getting to know you two! Hope you are having fun in Jamaica!!!

I think this one is so cute! They were having their first dinner as Husband & Wife and were holding hands under the table. 🙂

dress // Angie found her dress at a Brides Against Breast Cancer  “Nationwide Tour of Gowns”.

If you missed it the first time around don’t worry, they will be back in the Portland area in late September. This is such a brilliant idea! They have new, used, and designer dresses at steeply discounted prices and all of the money goes to fight breast cancer. We tried to convince Angie to get into the soaking pool in her dress but she refused because she is going to donate it back to them. 🙂 I think I am going to do the same with mine. I mean… i’m never going to wear it again and it has been taking up WAY too much precious real estate in my closet for too many years!

Where are you two lovebirds headed on your honeymoon? // We get to spend 10 glorious days at a Sandals Resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica!
