Jayme and I were invited by her brother and his girlfriend to attend the Cirque Du Eugene at Cozmic Pizza. Make sure you check out the calendar of events. Upon paying the $5.00 cover the performer at the ticket table eyed my camera or maybe it was Jayme’s camera bag and was wanting to know if we were going to take some pictures. I asked is it ok? And she looked at me with a funny look and said “look at us! Do we look like we like having our picture taken,” and smiled. As the night progressed Jayme leaned over in her chair and asked me “What would you think if I took belly dance classes?” as if I would be like oh no honey that is an awful idea. 🙂 Let’s just say that the performances were incredible. Cirque Du Eugene included an evening of belly dance, theatrical arts, hoop dance, clowns, contortionists, comedy and other acts befitting a carnival. It was family-friendly, and all ages were welcome. Featured performers were Circus Tribal and Shpongled Hoops. Other performers include: Luminessah, Hip Service, Sarina, Wild Iris Tribe, Audralina, Jamara, Lina Hipps, Seraphina, Clowny the Clown, Martin the Mime, and No Shame Eugene. Thanks to all the performers for the entertainment. We look forward to the next Cirque Du Eugene performance. Oh and if you are interested in taking beginning belly dance classes with Jayme the schedule and more information can be found here.
